What's up with Evan Mathis???

Mathis needs to stop crying about his contract every offseason. He's paid damn good money for a 33 y/o OG. On the flip side, Chip needs to stop trying to unload every guy that rocks the boat a little. He should man up and tell Mathis to play out the contact he signed because he's not getting a raise, and to not bring it up again.

Any opinion that Kelly has on Mathis is the result of two years expereince. Right or wrong, it's not quick to judge.

what is quick to judge and ludicrous is judging moves before they even happen. Suppose Kelly gets a first round pick back for him? Is is still a bad deal? You know nothing but one side of a rumor and already have an opinion. Lol

I have seen nothing in those past two seasons that warrants letting Mathis go. When I say quick to judge I am implying that chip is quick to judge that Mathis is easily replaceable and I believe it has nothing to do with any observation of his on Mathis in the past two season but more to do with his own overconfidence in his philosophies and he gets rid of anyone that rubs him wrong.

You're kidding yourself if you think Chip is going to get a first round pick for him LOL. In fact teams are anticipating him to be released like Djax and that's probably why Chip doesn't have a trade partner yet.

One side of a rumor maybe but as I said before where there is smoke on a Chip Kelly rumor there is fire. No he has not cut him yet and I hope he doesn't but looking at Chips track record im guessing Mathis release is inevitable. You want to call that quick to judge on my part then so be it but nothing good will comes out on cutting Mathis if that is so the direction he goes.

I was joking on the first round pick. Fact is I don't think Mathis has any trade value as he is already being paid market value.

Im not sure why he wants to trade a stud Guard but the Rams need a guard bad. not sure why they didn't try to work that into the Foles Bradford deal. Maybe you guys keep your 4th rd pick you gave us? I guess they could still do it now though.
