Was talking to guys I was golfing with about different courses we'd played and the cost. One friend had played St. Andrews a couple of years ago...he had to get up in the middle of the night and wait in an early morning queue, but he got to play. Close to $400 bucks, if I recall.

The most I've ever paid was $100 a few years ago, I know that's not too rich. I was more offended by the $30 price for a six pack.

How about you?

probably Torrey Pines North Course...I tried to get the San Diego resident rate but they saw through my ruse...but I was going to pay whatever and it was worth it.

I haven't gone and played Pebble or any other big time courses, but I think I am getting to wanting to do that more often.

Most expensive I've played - TPC Sawgrass $750+caddies. Was a work trip.

Most expensive I've paid - Bethpage Black $140 and will pay $350 to play North Berwick when I go to Scotland in June.
