Beyond the obvious next four games, last night's game was one that he could have and should have stepped up his game. Taking command of this offense there were some troubling things that we hadn't seen before from him. Among them, audibling out of some plays where a peek to the left or right would have told him that their safety was playing up putting them in single coverage, ripe for attacking their corners. How about audibling into play action on those jumbo telegraphed run plays? The snap count has been exactly the same all year (on one) and changing that would have added valuable free yardage on penalties and slowed their D-line a bit. Finally, he should have called his number more on rollouts in the face that unending blitzing Dallas front. All in all this was the game where he should have separated himself from his Dallas counterpart and other players at that level. Maybe redemption will come in the coming weeks as Kirk leads this team into doing something that he has not done all season.....winning games on the road.
