Might have to pay Kam or he just might kill Paul Allen by tackling him

haha yeah no doubt.... Im conflicted on this one. Kam and lynch are my favorite players. But kam's got THREE years left on his deal.

He was the FIRST player of the core to get his deal. Which meant he got to be rich beyond belief before the rest of the core....the downside of that, is once the rest ET, Sherm, bennett, Avril now RW get paid they will be making more then he is......

catch 22 and all. We redid his deal prior to him being an all pro and the dominate force we all know him to be..... so I think he "deserves" to be paid more. But theres just no way you rip up a deal with 3 years left, sets a terrible precedence and frankly theres no money left.

Not much really. Julio is still coming in to camp without making a big deal about his contract.

So Lad. Webb passes his physical and some are saying Harbs' physical conditioning test is as hard or hardest in the league. Most at his physical said he is in shape just ran it wrong. ;/ idiot.

So all is perfect again in Raventown.

Incase no one has noticed with all this "D" crap, NFL holdouts may be lower if not lowest than ever ... rookie holdouts are ... according to this:
No More NFL Holdouts - Forbes

Which means possibly better prepared players to start ... which is good ... IMO ...

Well Broncos suffered their first injury today with Kyle Williams (mostly known for his two botched punt returns when he was with the 49ers) tore his Achilles today.

Otherwise at Broncos camp Manning is said to be looking as good as he always had. Brock Osweiler is surprising some people though as he has made just about as many good throws as Manning and looks to be a perfect fit for a Kubiak offense.

Broncos OL has been the unit to struggle the most so far. Doesn't help they are going against DeMarcus Ware and Von Miller all day long but they are getting beat pretty bad at this point.

On that same note the Bronco pass rush is looking superb so far as is the secondary.

Packer players were doing the usual riding the kids bikes from the locker rooms to the practice field

Was reading up on Ravens camp today and looks like quite a few guys banged up today. Also looks like some very mixed reviews on Perriman on his first day. I know one of the Ravens fans had posted on here that he was leaving people in awe but was reading and some said while he had the spectacular plays he also ran a lot of bad routes, dropped some easy ones, and at times just looked lost on the field. Typical rookie stuff but it does seem that what was the biggest questions about him before the draft are playing out a bit for the Ravens in just the lack of consistency. Going to be interesting to see him develop this year.

Lost in the reports for Patriots camp - Dobson has been making catches like the draft pick we expected him to be.
It will be huge if he can play real football like he is practicing. Who knows......

Where are you seeing mixed reviews?

He as dominate then bruised his knee and has sat out for two days...lack of consistency?

He missed one pass in training camp.... Please elaborate

Well on ESPN the Ravens writer wrote about him having a bit of an up and down day making some mental mistakes but also showing some extreme ability as well. Can't seem to find an article but another Ravens writer had wrote about how Ravens fans should temper expectations for this year with Perriman as they don't think he will quite be ready to be a consistent contributor this year.

Have no clue what u r talking about... They have Ben saying his speed is as advertised and more and his grasp of the offense is high. He onl doubt was by inconsistency with drops and he has absolutely impressed dropping one ball since OTA's.

So far as whether he will be a contributor he is running with the first offense before he bruised his knee.

I have no idea who said that but from Ravens camp it's a huge 10/10 for Perriman this far.

From the Ravens channel:

Perriman made plays all over the field, flashing his speed and ability to gain separation. He hauled in a pair of deep diving catches down the sidelines during full-team drills, but actually tweaked his knee falling to the ground on the second of those grabs

Before leaving practice, Perriman flashed the abilities that the Ravens saw when they took him with the No. 26 overall pick. He consistently got open during one-on-one drills, and he was a popular target for quarterback Joe Flacco

I will call it out if he was slacking or sucks as I have Lad Webb... But as of today Perriman while a rookie is impressing.

From what I have heard the team is trying to figure out what kind of defense they are going to have to play this year. It looks like they will go back to the more zone type coverages to eliminate the big plays and will do the more bend but don't break type defense. They are definitely going to have to depend on the front-7 to make them a decent to good defense this year.

Where did you hear that?

No injuries so far. Most important daily info to me.

This.

Good solid practices and no injuries are all you can ask for in training camp. Even full contact stuff is hard to gauge when the combatants are teammates.

Bring on game 1

Why do Pats fans feel the need to bring this up in a good football thread? It's like you want to bitch about all the deflate threads, but need to bring it up yourself on a regular basis, including threads that have nothing to do with it.

You're a bit too touchy to be a MOD. I would have sent your ass back into the general population a long time ago.

The NFL Network was talking about this quite a bit. They were saying that this past year the Patriots played more Man coverage than they have in a long time but it looks like this year they are going to go more back to the zone coverages of before to help out the inexperience of the Corners.

Sorry didn't mean to upset you. Just had heard some reports that Perriman showed flashes of brilliance but also showed he is still a rookie and his biggest question coming in was that he struggled with consistency. This was only a few writers opinions and like you said plenty others were in complete amazement just didn't know if you had heard some of these other reports or not.
