Hands seem to be working and players are raving about him his coach-ability and separation. Does Baltimore finally have the speed guy that can catch with speed has size and isnt soft dunno but it looks promising.

Broncos are reporting today and start actual practice tomorrow. What I have been hearing though is the Broncos are very excited about the shape everybody is showing up in. Seems like most instead of taking a nice vacation decided to stay in Denver or go to their respective training facilities and spend the entire break making sure to stay in game shape. Glad to hear after last year and hearing quite a few players showed up out of shape.

Just read that... Crazy. It's like, c'mon man... you have 1 job to do in the offseason, and you're paid millions to do it. Just stay in shape. You wouldn't think it would be that hard.

Hopefully its a good wakeup call for him, or else the coaches are going to ride his ass all camp long.

I wish Lad. Webb could blame smoking dope on being a cb and being out of fkn shape. I mean if anyone should be in shape its him. He should be so pliable he could stick his leg over his head and run the 40 in 3 flat if hes in shape but not this a**hole. smh

Every year this happens. As a coach and us as fans man that has to be so frustrating. Especially when you are considered one of the top teams in the league. The smallest of things can separate the top teams from those that stand a chance of winning the entire thing and that of falling short. I'm guessing it won't take him long to get caught back up but still not the way you want to start the official year.

Steelers camp news (so far):

Offense:
*Backup QB Bruce Gradkowski has yet to practice due to "arm fatigue"... lol
*Landry Jones is throwing multiple interceptions each day. Nothing new to that lol.
*DeAngelo Williams is impressing the coaches, both as a player & leader.
*Martavis Bryant is 10lbs heavier but is faster & stronger. Making big waves so far.
*Markus Wheaton is showing off his versatility. Both as a receiver and return man. Making the move to the slot is going to be a huge boost to this offense.
*Backup OT Mike Adams started camp on the PUP due to a back injury. Can hardly walk or bend over. Seems as though his spot is in jeopardy since he was entering a heads up battle with Alejandro Villanueva.

Defense:
*Jarvis Jones is having another strong start to camp. Looks stronger.
*Vince Williams is dominating camp once again. Backs on backers drill, 11 on 11, and gap shooting drills. Challenging Shazier to the buck ILB spot.
*Dupree is showing his explosiveness. Dominating 2nd team, and holding his own against the 1st team.
*Cortez Allen (CB) had a shaky start. Got beat a few times on day 1, but rebounded with 2 interceptions over the next 2 practices.

Injuries:
*Gradkowski (QB), Adams (OT), Lemon (OLB), Golson (CB), and Pouncey (C) all started camp on PUP. Lemon was released due to his achilles injury. Golson has an aggravated shoulder. Pouncey has a foot sprain.
*Ross Ventrone (S/STer) went down hard on his ankle on day 1. Was seen in a walking cast yesterday.

Tom Brady was the best player of the day, and he took no less than 100 percent of the first-team reps. He completed 27 of 30 passes in team drills, including his first 16 throws of the day, and two of the incompletions were drops. The other incompletion, which came on his final throw of the day, was an uncharacteristic overthrow on a would-be touchdown to a wide-open Danny Amendola. Brady was 10 of 10 in 7-on-7s and 17 of 20 in 11-on-11s.

Jimmy Garoppolo had a good day overall after coming back from a pair of early miscues. He completed 28 of 36 passes in team drills. Second-rounder Jordan Richards intercepted Garoppolo’s first throw of the day by sitting on a crossing route in the end zone, and Garoppolo’s second incompletion came on an overthrow on a screen pass. Otherwise, he played well and led an efficient offense in the two-minute drill, hooking up with Brian Tyms three times.

The play of the day drew some cheers that could probably be heard in Walpole. Julian Edelman had the ball on a trick play and threw a completion to Brady, who made a one-handed catch and poked the ball over the pylon for a touchdown. Josh McDaniels said that was a “fun” one they drew up for practice.

Underlined and Bolded is what I fear the most on offense for the Steelers against the Ravens.

We have no answer for him bigger stronger and faster. smh

Rock but 26 out of his 27 completions were off target. He had the most last year, in case you didn't know, Hammer educated me on this fact

I was a big Mike Adams fan when he was coming out of college. Sad to see his career really falling apart with injuries and just bad play. Really thought he would be huge for you guys.

Sounds like you guys better hope Roethlisberger stays healthy the entire year.

Also very interested to see how this new Steelers defense is going to look. I see them having a shaky start to the year with just some new moving parts and new coach. As the season progresses though that could be a team that nobody wants to play.
