What were you doing a decade ago when you found out about WTC attack?

i was waking up on on my brothers couch(after a pretty gnarly party) and thinking wtf....so i go into my brothers room and he and a girl from the night before were laying there butt naked (hot and nice tits) and i woke them up and we watched tv and had breakfast.........then we went to work(servers) and watched the news all day restaurant was dead

Driving to work. Heard it on the radio and watched in a state of semi shock all day.

i was waking up for my 8am design lab my freshman year at VT, roommate turned the TV on just in time to see the second plane hit. sat glued to the TV for hours on end.

i had to work...and my freakin job would let us leave or watch the news

was at work, heard about the 1st plane, called home and her to flip on the news. She said, yeah they're showing the replay. She didn't realize at the time she was watching the 2nd plane hit. Back at the office, I remember consoling another attorney who had just relocated from NYC and had friends that worked in the towers. On the way home, various radio stations had set up shop and were attaching small American flags to antennas. I'll never forget that day, or those who we lost. Thanks to our troops.

had the TV for background noise as I was getting ready to go. sat down for a minute to finish my coffee before I left and saw the first building burning. about then the second plane hit and it was obvious it was no accident. woke up my now ex-wife, who was from NYC, and stayed home for the day glued to the tube. didnt give a fuck about skipping, but it didnt matter...just about everything shut down for the day (milwaukee)
