Suburbs that are 250 miles away?

I know...but he's made it clear in the past that the San Antonio TV market was his TV market.

So...if San Antonio is ever to get a team, Jerrah is going to have to be paid dearly for his yes vote.

Full disclosure: I grew up in a community called Buford. That was the name of my high school as well.

I don't think we could support an NFL team but I'd be willing to give it a shot.

I live in Buford right now...I think they have a good stadium site by the Applebees on GA 20. If we can draw from about 40 other towns I think we could pull it off.

Everyone in San Antonio is already a Cowboys fan. Plus their highway system is so ass no one would be able to get to the game on time.

The Green Bay Packers will leave Green Bay and arrive in Pottsville, PA to re-establish the legacy of the Pottsville Maroons

The FUCK

I saw your notification about the next city to expand, and I assumed the Phillies or Iggles were moving to Wilmington.

I may be drunk, but this is a square kick in the nuts.

Trying to think what college is in Buford...there's a college a little north of us, in Gainesville.

There was a University of North Georgia branch near there?

Yeah, they might have a satellite campus in Buford, but I think this is the school I was thinking about in Gainesville.

Buford, GA's claim to fame is a perennially ranked HS football team...I think they have 2 or 3 state titles the last decade. Largest shopping mall in the southeast (whoop dee doo) and Lake Lanier.

Sounds like you’ve already started working on your next book already.

Do you have a working title yet?

I know everyone is joking about putting a team in a really small town but in reality they don't necessarily need for it to be a huge City. The NFL is a national sport. It's not like baseball which is a regional sport.

If the NFL decides to expand they are just looking for even more eyeballs (More games) for television. They don't make their money off of ticket sales to a stadium. In fact, a lot of the newer stadiums they are building smaller as opposed to the massive 80000 seat stadiums they used to build.

Books? Oh shit, last we spoke,I was in the best-selling novel industry. Seems like so long ago. I’ve since applied my talents to the audio engineering industry. Did you catch Bob Dylan’s latest live album release, Live 1962–1966: Rare Performances From the Copyright Collections? Peaked at 49 in the UK? Yep, that was me:nod:
