Fridays preseason game vs the Eagles...

what are you expecting to see? starters for hwo long.. will tebow show something.. will the rooks get extended time? will the DB's continue to improve.. bland standard plays or foot to the floor go go go ?

lets hear some input..

I don't expect starters to get too much, but hopefully rookies get a bit. Even with Mallett throwing to our young receivers should tell us something. If there's a lot of Tebow it had better be because they are hyping him up to move him. I hate the idea of him making it on the field in real football in any possible circumstances.

I want to see how competitive the defense is, particularly how the DBs compete and how the pass rush goes. And I want to see the rookie WRs. That's about what my main focus will be tomorrow. Don't care what happens with Tebow.

Don't expect to see Dennard, he limped off the practice field and is most likely out with a hamstring or quad...but your guess is as good as mine.

I'll be keeping an eye on Kelly, Jones, Bequette, Collins, Ryan, Harmon & Adrian Wilson on defense along with Sudfeld, Mallett and the WRs.

Too bad Armstead and, most likely, Ras-IR are out.

I would think we would see the following.

1. A lot of different combinations at the CD position do not be surprised to see McCourty there, BB has to figure this out.

2. Rookies and first year receivers will get tons maybe all the time, think about it it's not like we have a lot of seasoned guys at this position who have the position secured.

3. 1 Quarter for Brady with the first string O Line two Quarters for Mallett mostly with the first string line but next tier guys working in.

4. Tebow will get some snaps not sure the play calling will be the typical Pats stuff.

5. A solid dose of the run game, look for Vereen to get some screen passes tossed his way.

6. Look for Collins to play potentially three spots. OLB ILB DE. He is very athletic.

i was looking forward to seeing the defense play but it looks like the whole unit aint gunna be out there, no dennard or ras-i. that sucks. i guess ill focus on collins.

hopefully mallett plays exceptional so we can trade him for a high pick! i also want to see blount run the ball.
