I think Markelle Fultz is the best looking PG prospect I've seen in many years, but he makes little sense for Boston. A backcourt of Thomas and Fultz seems like a bad combination.
I see their best option as either trading down and taking Lonzo Ball or Josh Jackson or just taking one of them at #1.
My preference is Ball, at 6'6'' and a 7'3'' wingspan he is big enough to play SG with the 5'9'' Thomas at PG.

Doesn't help the team if he is on the bench in street clothes come play-off time like he has done 2-3 years already.

Some of it is random stuff like punching things. If he can stop doing that he's worth the gamble. Just my opinion.

Then they should trade Thomas, they can't have a 5'9'' and 6'3'' backcourt and both are best at PG. Jimmy Butler at SG and Fultz at PG would be a hell of a combo.

I thought their odds were better than they are. I read they have just 25% chance, it's top 3 and the rest this season. Even if they land 3rd Josh Jackson wouldn't be too shoddy.

Yeah, odds are they won't have the first pick...but who knows. Regardless, they're going to end up with a very talented player. Lots of talent in this draft. I think they'd have to go Fultz at #1, regardless of fit. Or maybe they figure out a way to trade down or trade it. Let's say Philly ends up with # 3 and/or #4, would Boston trade #1 for Okafor, #3, and maybe some other Philly asset?
