When your team isn't good there's always the inevitable fan loyalty questioning from one fan to another. Pops up all the time in thread after thread around here.
Personally, I look at it like a marriage between the fan and the team. I voice my opinion good and bad. I respect but disagree with fans who think you're less of a fan for "whining" or voicing your opinion about the things you don't like.
Just because some fans never complain when their team is bad doesn't mean they don't care and accept losing and fans do that complain aren't whiners that enjoy seeing the team lose. Attacks and arguments can be made both ways.
It's fun to debate other fans about the team, but I never understand the fan conduct judge & jury attitude some have.
