You lose to Utah and hear about it for a decade afterwards.

But yeah, it's pretty awesome. I think I love the hate from other fans as much as anything as far as other fans go. The tough times make you want to jump off your house into a pool that's not really there, but at the at the same time, you know it's only a matter of time before you're putting it in butts again.

I can understand that too, I personally enjoy it all though. It's nice to know you're all up in peoples minds imo. Then again, there's only like 5 things in life I really take seriously and butthurt football fans of other teams are not one of those things lol.

For one thing it helps recruiting. Coach Kaz who recently left Iowa for Nebraska to coach DL said when he walks into a high school with that 'N' on his shirt and cap he commands immediate respect and attention. People do double takes and coaches turn into fans, whereas when he was at Iowa he said they just kind of treated him like an average joe.
