What album have you listened to more than any other?

This is a tough one for me because I listened to so much music when I was a kid, I would imagine I had an old Elvis album I listened to 1,000 times but of the ones I can remember it's gotta be either Pink Floyd the Wall from my teen years or Queensryche Operation Mindcrime...

So what have you listened to more than anything else?

In my teens and early twenties, I was like you. Queensryche was in heavy rotation. I liked Operation Mindecrime and Empire. Along with Pink Floyd.

Now I'm into new rock. I listen to mainly new rock. Three Days Grace, Shinedown and Hinder are some of my favorites.

Probably 'Exit Stage Left' by Rush. It was my second record... I used to play it over and over... I had just started playing drums and at the time, couldn't fathom how Neil played that YYZ solo... It is still one of may favorites.

Others in the discussion would have to be Floyd, but I played Final Cut and Animals more than any others.... I've played Picture of Nectar - my first Phish album a lot...

One odditiy in my life was when I bought The Screaming Cheetah Wheelies first album. I played it in my car for probably six months, over and over, without taking it out.....

I'm listening to some newer stuff as well, I like Mudvayne... But Queensryche still gets heavy play with me.

My teens years was for sure Led Zeppelin and not just their radio crap. I have been a John Bohnam fan since I first heard LZ. My adult life would likely be Pantera(Vinny and Dime are just awesome). Throw in some older Se7endust and Deftones.

Zep should be a given:happy:

I agree. I seriously would listen to every song with my Walkman cd player and try to visualize me playing every drum strike Bonham did. Needless to say, I will never be able to play anywhere near his level.

Which version of ST do you enjoy more? Punk or Thrash.

I really got into them when they released Lights, Camera, Revolution. Really one of my favorite albums of all time and is still on heavy rotation in my car.

Nice list!

I had one Suicidal Tendencies album and loved it... One song started "Stand by stomach, here come banana!".... Great disc.

And, Primus was one of my favorites. I have most of their stuff...

After looking it up, since 2009 my top listened to albums are:

Sabbath Bloody Sabbath - Black Sabbath
Warp Riders - The Sword
Sad Wings of Destiny - Judas Priest
Dehumanizer - Black Sabbath

That's just on my computer though, I'd imagine 2112, Paranoid, Dark Side of the Moon and Animals would be on there if you counted everything.

It varies. I listen to something for a while, wear it out, get tired of it, and wear something else out for the next few years.

But when I was a pre-teen, couldn't drive, everyone else left the house and I was all alone for huge chunks of time, I listened to two 8-tracks non-stop: The Song Remains the Same, and Molly Hatchet (self-titled).
