Note to self:
In preseason, owners were split on Yeldon v Ivory.
Some saw the big contract for Ivory as an indicator he gets at least an even share and possibly GL work.
In preseason, Yeldon had 11 rushing attempts compared to Ivory's 16.

Timeline
Mar 8 - Jags sign Ivory to 5-yr deal worth $32 mil (Yeldon still on his rookie contract is making $1.3 mil in 2016)
Sep 7 - injures calf in preseason.
Sep 11 - out for game 1 of reg season (later hospitalized w/ illness).
Sep 22 - begins practicing, later upgraded to full practices, active for game 3.
Oct 15 - reportedly has 21 touches in 2 games; playing on just 36 snaps. (Jags to date have 185 offensive plays).

Not sure the Jags are too pleased with Ivory's 2.2 ypc either.
I blame the O-line.
The entire O is sputtering.

I'm still of the opinion Ivory is the better back to own. they've still never said what his illness was, but if he spent multiple days laying in a hospital, anyone expecting him to be perfectly fine a week or two later, strong enough to do what he does, how he does it, was kidding themselves.

well see how responds to this whole "JAX coaches say Yeldon is their true lead back" BS, this week. I'm betting he puts that little rumor to bed
