For me, I was shocked that the Bills crushed the Chiefs so easily. And that Newton looked good in his rookie debut.

And Go Lions!

Ravens over Steelers by a wide margin was a shock.
Didn't see any of it, but it sounded like Ben had a rough day!!

The margin of Victory for the Ravens, and how well Newton did in his debut.

Also the Redskins defense was impressive in their win against the Giants.

I think the Lions are playoff bound this season..
Not sure about the Vikes, but it could be a toss up for the other 3 teams in the Norse..

It's going to be a a heck of a battle in our division. Vikes might surprise. For the first time in years I have a legit reason to be excited for the Lions, unlike previous years where I was just chugging koolaid.

That's got to be the most surprising. Very few people gave the kid a chance in the NFL. Granted he got most of his yards on an 80 yd bomb to Steve Smith who was wide open, but still, he looked very very good.

  • Buffalo shutting down the Chiefs, not surprised by Fitz and Stevie Johnson tearing it up.
  • Chicago's defense, Atlanta has a lot of talent on offense. Figured Chicago would slow them down, not shut them down.
  • Ravens beating up so badly on the Steelers.
  • Newton throwing for 400 yards and scoring 3 TDs
  • Washington being so much better without the McNabb/Haynesworth distractions

Probably the Baltimore/Pittsburgh game. The Steelers were man-handled, so I'm looking forward to how they play in that rematch.

I actually wasn't too surprised in the Ravens rolling over my hometown team. That defense is too good to not have a breakout at some point against their rivals.

My biggest surprised was the Packers living up to the hype. They've been over-analyzed since they had their first playoff win last year. A lot of people, myself included, kept saying "hey, they barely made it into the playoffs!" Good for them.

Jets/Dallas game was awesome really didn't expect that comeback and Romo to blow the game. Guess I should give up on believing Romo has upside potential in close games haha

Falcons really sucked, hell the entire NFC South division sucked. Who would have predicted they would go 0-4 on opening weekend?

Fitz of the Bills the number one QB in the ratings. I know it's only one week but I think he is better than most give him credit for.
