He listed 6 for the MWC....
LOL isn't a team you say? My bad.
What happens if Boise loses?
Will all these bandwagon BSU fans that showed up, disappear into the night as quickly as they appeared?
SEC east making look bad again....
I don't see bandwagon Boise Fans here. These are all guys that were on Disney for YEARS before coming here. These guys took their lumps after the Nevada game so I suspect losing to UGA won't chase them off.
yeah there's no way a mid-major could come into somebody's house (especially not one that has aspirations of winning the conference) and beat them.
especially not with a true freshman.
damnit.
Dude, check BYU's record, they struggle to beat BCS opponents on the road. See @FSU, @Arizona, @UCLA, @BC. None of those have been that good recently. The only wins they have on the road against BCS competition was @Washington two years ago, and that was because of the refs.
yeah I know it just sounds exactly the same as what was said when BSU came into Autzen in 2008. No way they could beat a team that was expected to compete for the conference title. Especially not with a true freshman.
I think it's why we play the games. Sometimes a Utah does beat an Alabama.
While I don't disagree, BYU is not a Utah in 08 or a Boise State, they were barely bowl eligible last year. They definitely haven't been pulling in the talent of Utah and TCU in order to claim they are going to be on that level.
I would bet big on BYU if it was in Mormon land, but it isn't. It is going to be in a hostile and loud environment, a place that BYU rarely plays, against a team with its back against the wall.
You can stick with your pick, but at least respect my pick for the reasons I gave you.
I'm not disputing any pick. I'm just pointing out that dismissing a mid-major simply because they're a mid-major has been the down fall of more than a couple programs over the past 7 years.
You only listed 5 each.
