I am aware that Coors field is a joke, but instead of using it as an excuse for a single pitcher their are 5 starting pitchers so you can get a good comparison.
Gray has an ERA+ of 79, he has pitched the most games and has the fewest quality starts of all Rockies pitchers
And before that, he had a 116 ERA+ over two seasons.
His FIP and xFIP are almost 3 full runs lower than his ERA and he has a .375 BABIP allowed (which is ridiculous even for a Coors Field pitcher). He's struggled for sure, but there's a lot of reason to expect his ERA to improve significantly IMO.
