Will Chicago make any moves before trade deadline? Or do they keep what they have? And, at years end do they get rid of everyone and start a rebuild?

What they have now clearly isn't going to work, they missed out on their prime opportunity a couple years ago, and now these guys are just bland and cant get the job done.

I can see them trading Pau, with Noah out and Butler missing time it could be worth moving guys that have some value. Outside of Butler, the rest of the team is probably available for the right price.

The Bulls are stuck in a tough situation. It's hard to gauge what they could get for their players. Pau is playing at the highest level he's played at since the title years with the Lakers, but he's 35. While his skillset seems to suggest that he can continue to play at a relatively high level for at least a couple more seasons, he's much closer to the end of his career than the beginning.

Noah is only 30, but his body is falling apart on him. Too bad, because without that, he could bring a huge return. Gibson is sort of a poor man's Noah. He's a good energy guy who knows his role and sticks to it (I'd love to see the Lakers get him somehow), but I doubt they could get enough in return to actually improve the team. Rose is injury prone.

It seems like the only guy they can move for any significant return, is the one guy they shouldn't move.

Yeah, the Bulls are in a tough spot for the deadline. Got to think they stay put for now but in the off-season they may re-jig a bit.

I root for small town guys like Hoiberg, but it's just not working out for him right now.

I don't blame him. He doesn't have the talent to win. Butler is great. Gasol is great offensively but equally bad defensively. The rest of the starters are not in the top 20 at their positions and they have no bench.

Latest rumor is Garpax wants a first round pick and a rotation worthy wing player for Pau. Sacramento is the current hot rumor. They really need to look at the roster and figure out who is gonna be here. With all 15 spots taken, someone else needs to go. Apparently Pau is claiming he will not be opting out at the end of the year and wants to stay with the bulls, cant really see a spot for him on this athletic club.
