0-4 might have been extra motivation for them going into the Rams week. Not that they should need it. Can't be cocky with how they have been playing.

what a crap game, not happy at all with the win but it really is hard to be happy about a preseason win anyway.

I would take a 45-14 loss in the preseason if the first string Offense accounted for those 14 point's and the Defense ( first string of who is actually playing ) only gave up 6 points.

What type of scoring has our starting offense gave us this preason? 0 Points not counting Hauschka's kicks? laughable, just laughable.

My thoughts after viewing the whole game:

Starting defense looked stout overall. Pass rush was great, defensive line looked solid. Clark and Marsh looking to contribute big time this year. Linebackers, especially KJ, were making some great plays. In the secondary Cary Williams was pretty average out there and there were a few poor plays by some of the slot guys, but not bad overall when you consider Earl and Kam weren't there. Bailey played solid enough filling in for Kam.

Special teams, fucking awesome. Lockett is going to be a monster and Hauschka showed he can boot one from 60 if they need him to. Just wish he hadn't fallen short on that 58 yarder. Jon Ryan averaged more than 50 yards on 7 punts.

Offense........well it was bad. Run blocking seemed to open up a bit more but nothing else stood out as positive. I'm not one to panic after a single poor performance but this is three games in a row the starting offense hasn't done shit. Russ had very little time to throw and when he did he was missing guys and forcing it into coverage. In other instances it seemed like no one was open and he took off running. Not encouraging here. Hopefully this is just a slump and they turn it around.

Yah, Wright got a little banged up but he was technically able to go back in, coaches decision though to keep him out (smart!). Good to see Sherman getting some reps. Annoying to see Okung out (AGAIN!) although doesn't appear anything major. Sore shoulder or something?
