What do you think of your teams class?

Auburn did extremely well. We went into the day at 20 commits and signed 24 yesterday. We flipped quality players from TN, UGA and Miami plus beat Bama out on fantastic TE.

Honestly couldn’t have gone better for us.

Positives: lots of 4 star talent. Some really good pickups at WR, OL, LB, DE and S.
Negatives: Not a lot of top 100 talent. Missing a DT in the class, which may be a problem down the line.

Solid class, I would have liked another big DLineman or two and a true dual threat QB personally but thats just me..overall the class looks really good with a surprise at WR and possible transfer or two to go. Oline needs an attitude adjustment but with graduation and now a transfer out that may well be in the works, out with the old in with the new if you will..

OU is #12 and damn near #13 in Rivals. No QB signed so we only have two QB's on scholarship right now. Lost our biggest hope for a stud RB who blew us off at the last minute and signed with Bama. Signed some guys who are projects for the OL and DL that might be good down the road. No, I'm not happy at all. Something slipped this year. It's been a bad week for OU.

9th in the country and 1st in the Big 12. I'll take it. Rattler will be the QB next year as a freshman and you have the #1 QB in the nation coming in next year's class, so I don't have any worries there either. Biggest area of need is DT, and we signed the top 2 JUCO DT's, so I'm pretty happy with it overall. This O line class is stellar.

Our class is probably better than I should expect considering the disappointing season and staff turnover. It's missing some pieces but QB, RB, Oline, and Dline were outstanding. LB is the biggest question mark going into next season if we don't address it on NSD2.

I quit following recruiting years ago. That is some frustrating shit trying to figure out the mind of a 17 year old.

Now I just look at the roster before the season starts.

Nobody had won the national championship since BYU that didn't have a top 10 ranked class within four years of winning the natty and the majority of the last 20 years have had multiple top 5 ranks within that 4 year period.

Recruiting matters and those that say different suck anyway.

Penn State is ranked 13th, so I guess pretty good.
Though it hurts me to see the best WR born in literal Nittany country be in...those Grey and Scarlet uniforms that haunt me in my nightmares.

Bingo! That is what I've been saying for 3 years. OU has the devil in a box right now and we aren't breaking through our glass ceiling to keep him there. if, repeat IF, Texas ever wakes up and smells the coffee OU will be back in a situation where beating Texas makes or breaks our entire season. That's exciting but a little too risky for winning championships. Texas won't stay down forever.

We've won 5 straight conf tittles. 7 out of the last 10 games we kicked Texas ass.

For Texas:
13 players drafted in the last 5 years
1 - first rounder
4 - second & third rounders

Not sure what Texas is selling their recruits. The current crop of recruits and future recruits does not have recent history of winning or draft success from Texas on their side.
