Offense

Garbage Oline, stud QB, above average WR's, average at best running game


Defense

Decent Dline, decent DB's, decent run D, sub-par pass D

We need to stay healthy.

Offense- I think we are set and ready to hunker down for SEC play.
Defense- DBs, TURN YOUR HEAD AROUND!!!!! Everything else is fine.
Special Teams- as long as they keep doing what they're doing, it's all good.
Coaching- need to get more flow in the game.
Discipline- we have GOT to cut down on penalties. Way too many... I know we're young, but Saban teams are known for fundamental football. All these unnecessary penalties and timeouts have got to go, we are Bout to hit one hell of a stretch in our schedule.

Our defense is young and will struggle to get off the field unless we can make the other team's offense one dimensional. The pass rush isn't nearly as effective this year as it has been in previous seasons. Not so hot against the run either really.

There's a tendency for the team to take their foot off the pedal to early and get complacent in the 1st half after jumping out to significant early leads. Thinking the game's over in the 2nd quarter, even with a 3 or 4 score lead, letting the other team get back into it and think they've got a chance, etc. Taylor Kelly isn't playing in the late 3rd to get injured if they keep rolling early.

As long as Mariota stays healthy, we'll be a contender.

Oregon's efforts to get bigger and more physical has paid off.
I dont know how many more injuries the o line can take.
Peoples questions about the young inexperienced WR have been answered and they should have listened to me when I said they would be fine.

What I know?

The Ducks have Mariota and a bunch of very young weapons.

I know the defense has stiffened when needed.

I know they didn't get out of bed this past Saturday until 1015 AM for an 11 AM kickoff.

I know the o-line is very good, but 3 have been injured.

But, Texas has a bad offense.
Worst of all, Texas has a horribly bad special teams that actively try to find ways to lose games.


If the defense gets tired and finally quits in abject disgust (BYU), Texas cannot win.
If the defense somehow doesn't collapse in exhaustion, Texas can maybe pull out close wins.
