Stone Brewery was bought by Sapporo, so it’s now Japanese owned. In talking with local brewers here, usually it takes time while the new culture slowly absorbs the old. Fear, Movie, Lions, my go-to Stone beer, hasn’t changed. Yet.

Right now, I just finished a glass of milk with my Old Man Pills. We’re going out to a brewpub for dinner.

It’s only a matter of time until the buyer looks to mass produce and use cheaper ingredients…Budweiser bought Goose Island and turned that into swill quickly and now they sell it at every stadium and arena……Bourbon County has remained solid thank God…

Had a couple of local IPAs at a brewpub. The restaurant group’s head pastry chef is on one of thoe food network cooking game shows. They show it on the TVs in the bar. Everyone cheers and claps. He’s a local hero by now.

A couple of Mousehead lagers. We had an open house and I was told to get something for those who didn’t drink IPAs. So I got Moosehead and Labatt’s. One guy had a couple of the Labatt’s, so I’ve got a dozen Mooseheads to finish off. We’ll be on wine with dinner.
