I'm playing Psychonauts 2. Really enjoying it. A little cutscene-reliant but the writing is good and the characters are weird. It's somewhere halfway between Pixar and Rick and Morty and that's an interesting space.

I have been playing Far Cry 3. FC5 was on sale and FC3 was a free add on, so I decided to play 3 first.

It is just Assassins Creed, but without the fantastical story attached. There are even heavy AC EasterEggs throughout the game. The game seems pretty huge, so I don’t know if I will bother finishing it because it seems repetitive, but the game play isn’t horrible.

Been playing a lot of 7d2d since it went 1.0.

still lacks any in-game storyline, but that is the case with most early release games. Unfortunately, the fact they have released 1.0 probably means they are done with major addons so there likely won’t be any storyline adds.

Still a nice engine, though. The leveling system is pretty good and unique. The provided maps are pretty big, but probably too big, given that there isn’t any storyline forcing the players to explore. I haven’t played a random AI generated map in years, but I have done so in the past, the AI was pretty dumb with the terrain. I may have to try another random map somewhat soon.

Gonna try out Indiana Jones and the Great Circle after the Packers game is over and if my daughter is still asleep.

I think it looks amazing, like basically a movie but you’re playing as him, many reviews have stated as much.

I also just love the character.

Indiana Jones is pretty damn enjoyable, they nailed down the atmosphere, the combat, and the problem solving. You can binge play the game and lose track of time because your enjoying yourself so much. The voice actor does a great Harrison Ford. I can only hope MachineGames not only do a sequel but get a crack at doing a James Bond game as well.
