I'd say it's crazy for QBs too. Hopefully he'll be convinced to take a pay cut in the near future. Not a restructure where his money fucks up the cap later but an actual pay cut.

I think it has to be restructure or cut. The money owed can't just be spread out it's way to high.

If there is low guaranteed money at the end of the contract I can see a pay cut being likely. If he's still at a high level then redo it with some upfront moneys. They design contracts so they are basically voidable at the end with huge amounts to boost the players/ego by having a huge number for the total contract.
