I get it Dak and Zeke are balling and they should be getting a lot of the headlines. I know we haven't faced the Greatest Show on Turf or K-gun of the Bills, but giving up just under 20 a game is not bad in this league now days.

Mo is playing the best football of his career. Carr has been solid. I thought Brown played well today even though he gave up some passes. He was right there. Church seems to be having his best yr. I think Jones is a big part of that. JJ seems to make a big play every week. Sean Lee has been himself. Crawford and McClain have held the line down. Collins seems to getting better each week. DLaw back this week.

Oh I should also give a shout to Chaz Green. Although he got away with 6 false starts and 5 or more holds- he battled

When folks here were criticizing the Cowboys defense in the preseason I kept telling them to keep the faith because those games mean nothing.

Let's be honest, the D hasn't been great, but we knew that coming in. They just need to be good enough. If the D is NFL Average we can make some waves. I think the D was a little lost in spots today when you realize the not so great talent on the other side of the field that looked pretty good today. Who was saying last week how the read option never works? Star? But, without your best pass rusher and your best corner (although Mo looking to grab that title) you don't expect dominance. Next week will be a good test for this team. I do think the D can do enough to let the Offense win some games this year. I loved the key late turnover. That's the play we never seemed to make over the last handful of years.

I'm not disagreeing with you. Well, except for 55. He isn't going to be the guy he was 2 years ago and doesn't deserve another chance IMO. He should have been cut. Unless of course you think they are going to be a top 10 D. They just aren't going to be that good. My point was they don't have to be that good. I've said all year they just need a pass rush. I'm still not sure if they will have it, but I am a big D Lawrence fan so I'm hoping. IMO the secondary has been a very pleasant surprise o far. They are playing pretty well so far.
