It's whacked and I only looked at for like 5 seconds. Forget about it. Media drivel.

The problem is that they are using a formula that they can't even explain how it's applied. In the end it's useless drivel,

Wow, they should be embarrased that they even published this crap with their names on it.

San Diego ahead of GB and Washington? Oakland dead last? :wtf2:

Eh...I think for the most part the list makes sense

Some of us are judging on the prestige of the team name...but equity is equated by the teams worth...meaning the market size...the revenue...tv deals...stadium etc

I think it was explained by Mike and Mike that Oakland is dead last because of one...their recent drought of success...and two...most importantly their terrible stadium.

Dallas is one...simply cause so much money has been invested into that new stadium...the tv deals...revenue...etc

Dallas could probably go 8-8 for the next 5 years and it will still be worth more than almost every team in the NFL

And Green Bay...no matter how legendary the stadium is...how much prestige comes with the name "green bay packers"...that market does not garner enough revenue...or at least not as much as it would if the team were in Dallas or LA.

There are some glaring wtfs though...

Not sure how updated the list is...but San Fran as much as I hate them...should be higher on the list especially with that new billion dollar stadium coming their way

The Seahawks will continue to rise if our success continues so I'm not trippen. I heard that our team is worth a billion dollars now...and when it was bought in 1997 Paul Allen paid 197 million. Talk about a great investment.

I just have no comment, I know it's just the Dumb Ass Media, However, there just seemed to me that so many teams were out of order, it pisses me off that the "MEDIA" even get's to post and print things like that. Thank you everyone for sharing your opinions coming from the True Public's Mouth!!!

When I saw Dallas at No 1, I stopped reading.... That's just some random opinion that doesn't mean squat..

It's a weighted scale. If you see Dallas at the top, it matches the Forbes franchise value of Dallas at the top.

It makes sense based on the weights. That said what does it mean? Nothing, really.....
If it makes you feel better, Dallas fans are willing to pay more to watch a losing team.
Oakland fans don't have the money to watch a losing team.

Dallas is worth an absurd amount of money. New England too, but this is slanted because both own their stadiums and most teams do not.
