The mentality of taking open shots that your players usually make instead of forcing plays that aren’t available is smart.

I think OKC would be very happy if Minnesota turned down open shots to attack then strenght of the defense.

Sometimes things don't need to be over thought. Okc came into the game with the idea Minnesota has been ice cold from 3. They decided to close off everything except for 3 point shooting. Minnesota never made them pay so why would they adjust? I have no doubt OKC would have adjusted their defense if Minnesota started hitting those, but they never did so why adjust? Minnesota would have lost to Golden State if Curry was healthy because we can't hit a three to save our lives lately.

It's amazing some of the terrible 3 point performances we've seen in this year's playoffs. Live by the sword...

OKC is very versatile defensively.

Lots of ways they can guard and different personnel groupings they can use to carry out game plan adjustments.

To me the most underrated guy in that group is Cason Wallace. I know Dort gets a lot of credit defensively but I’ll take Wallace on that side of the ball all day long.

ESPN is showing the NHL WCF while TNT got the ECF

Had they started the Thunder series tonight then it would have went head to head with the NHL game on their network and TNT would have ran into the same issue if the Knicks series started last night

I completely forgot TNT was doing hockey now.
