Yes. You break their will completely if you still run it on them successfully.

Now imagine it in a 7 game series. The opposing DLine would be literally dead playing the Eagles every week.
This was my mistake, I thought you were a serious person, we can stop now. You can say you win and everything.

Love a point made on first take this morning. Why didn’t we hear complaints about players like Jordan or Duncan getting to the free throw line? No one really looking at the numbers is complaining about Shai.

People basically penetrated Jordan everytime he went into the paint, so those free throws made sense. SGA was getting to the line if the wolves gave him a frowny face. That is the difference. I ain't mad at it, play the game as they give it to you.

You are not being objective, Shai puts guys in unguardable positions. As I have said though of all the 30 point scorers this century Shai is like 7 of 32 in fewest free throw attempts. It’s just not what you think it is.

Not trying to win, just sharing my perspective. The mentality of avoiding the defense because it's too hard to go through them is soft.

Jordan got so many calls that the term "Jordan Rules" was created. There was plenty of criticism.

Duncan was just so boring and fundamental that people fell asleep instead.

Where does he stand among 30 pt scorers that attempt 6 3s per game? Not all scoring is equal, especially in foul rate.

I would wager he gets in the paint as much as any 30 pt scorer ever. Just watch.

Let's look at this season's leaders. Shai is 2nd in FTA/game, behind only Giannis (who does force his way to the basket earning a lot of contact). Shai is second, followed by Trae, Harden, Brunson, Jokic, and Lillard. Not exactly the company you want if you're trying to DISPROVE grifting.

The word grifting is fn ridiculous. Shai is one of the most skilled players to ever play the game. So much you are jealous. Really all this could be honestly. Good luck.

It was an aberration in certain aspects. If you think minny miss 26 open 3s again you are not a honest person

Give Reid, NAW, and Done 24 open looks again in game 2 and you have to assume to make about half of those at least

No I don’t expect that.

But also don’t expect SGA to go 10 for 27 or for Hartenstein to be the leading scorer for most of the first half.

Every game going to play out different.

But OKC will get at least 1 more blowout if the series goes the distance.

Or….

The mentality of taking open shots that your players usually make instead of forcing plays that aren’t available is smart.

I think OKC would be very happy if Minnesota turned down open shots to attack then strenght of the defense.

I think he absolutely draws contact, it is because his game is finesse they seem to have a quicker whistle.

Any took shit from announcers all series against GS because he was complaining about the whistle being swallowed. The main take away was that is not a foul in the playoffs. The exact same level of contact is getting SGA to the line. The only difference is Ant bullies to the rim and SGA finesse's to it.

I don't think officiating changed the outcome of the game, not one to complain about it. What I am saying is I would LOVE if Ant got the same treatment. Not that it mattered in this last game, he never entered the paint!

I think the fact that Shai actually takes and makes so many mid range shots is a factor. Ant is like 1-14 on mid range shots in the playoffs. He is either shooting a 3 or trying to go all the way to the rim it seems.

OKC is not packing the paint because they want Minnesota to drive. They want Minnesota to go soft.

No but I’m not the one with the bold talk here. Stay focus
It’s honestly not bold at all. Denver was a tougher matchup for the Thunder and they got them twice. It’s just what the Thunder do.

You’re not wrong. I’m just glad it’s not my turn this year to have to defend the idea that going to the line is a good thing. It’s Twitter shit.
