It’s honestly not bold at all. Denver was a tougher matchup for the Thunder and they got them twice. It’s just what the Thunder do.
I believe the Nuggets and a healthy GSW were the toughest matchups for OKC in the West. I don't like the Wolves chances against them, but we'll see.

Out of all the remaining teams, I like the Knicks' chances the best against OKC.

You are learning lol
What I’ll say is with the okc defensive strategy on leaving shooters open and packing the paint, I can see Minny winning a home game by close to 20 pts on a hot shooting night. More likely to happen than it was vs denver

You think there might be a chance that the Thunder would adjust if shots start falling?

For sure but maybe not in the same game or until it’s a little too late in said game. Let me give you an example of what could happen

Okc win game 2 so they keep the same strategy heading into game 3. Now in game 3 the wolves go off in the first half and hit 13 threes and lead okc 71-49 at half. OKC adjust and 2nd half is played almost even and okc lose the game 119-101

Something like that is completely possible with okc packing the paint and daring the wolves to beat them with 3 ball

Would you bet your life savings on that?

I’m not betting my life savings on anything.

But there were also quite a few ifs in my statement.

And I would guess this series does not go 7 games.

And if Minnesota is up 20 at half it still won’t be a blowout.

Because OKC will go on a run and cut the lead.

Cool. 19 isn’t a blowout?

Are you being intentionally obtuse?

Or can you not comprehend what I wrote?

And FYI, a blowout is a game where teams can pull starters with a couple minutes left or more.

It isn’t strictly defined by the victory margin.

Sometimes the final isn’t indicative of how competitive the game was.

My point is 19 can be considered a blowout. Setting the number at 20 is silly. A team can be down 28 then the end of bench guys score a few buckets after both benches are cleared to make it a closer game than what it was

I never once attached a number to what I considered a blowout to be.

What I did say is that even if the Thunder are down 20 in the first half per your hot shooting example, they will adjust and make the game competitive in the 2nd half because they will go on a run at some point.

Very possible but not a lock

ESPN is showing the NHL WCF while TNT got the ECF

Had they started the Thunder series tonight then it would have went head to head with the NHL game on their network and TNT would have ran into the same issue if the Knicks series started last night
