This reminds me so much of Kobe in 06 when guys like Kwame, Smush, and Walton were starters...Kobe averages 35 a game and almost upsets the heavily favored Suns in the first round.

Realistically, only three teams can win the title...Warriors, Cavs, and Spurs...so it's GREAT that at least we'll be able to watch individual greatness and excitement with Westbrook.

They have some quality talent, but I agree that the pieces don't fit very well. Oladipo is similar to Russ, just not nearly as good and their next 2 best players are both centers. They have a serious lack of shooting skill on the perimeter.

It is real hard to be efficient offensively when the defense does not have to respect 3 point shooting off the ball and can load to stop Westbrook whenever he drives.

Don't know if I'd call it easy. OKC kept extending the lead, the Lakers would cut it back down or even take the lead at times. They were down 4 with 4:43 left. Then the Thunder showed they know how to close a game. Something the Lakers need to learn.
