Sorry week 1 chiefs were awful

I’m still mad at Goff for letting Lamar Jackson throw for 350 and 3 TDs.

He let Geno throw for a season high in yards too.

I'm wondering if he's even going to see the field, barring further injury to Stafford. Since the Rams axed both Rypien and Winn, that leaves just Stafford and Wentz, so that leads me to believe they expect Stafford to start after the bye. If not, they'll have to hunt for another depth QB...

Could be. But this is Staffords last year. Stetson is MIA. Who’s gonna play QB next year? You can at least start to groom a former top 2 pick that’s had some success. Think they thought Baker would stick around after last year.

Who else can we go after next year in FA? They better not take a QB in the top 10. Need a defensive stud Edge or Dline. And we a need another Olineman in the early 2nd.

Living in Eagles Country, I saw an awful lot of Wentz. Before his knee injury against the Rams, he was mobile and would roll out. After his knee injury, he turned into a pocket passer. So much better when he could move around. I don't know if it is physical or mental at this point, but he has never been the same.

Rams don't have a good opportunity out of Stafford's contract until after 2025 ($18.5M in dead cap at that point). Unless he retires, he'll be here beyond this season.

McCarthy at Michigan to name a few. This draft is deep in QB's and LT's. Ten-to-one, they will eff this one up again in selecting the future QB. Stafford can then collect some more money and then retire.

Stafford is going to be around at least 2 more seasons regardless (unless he retires), too much dead cap to cut any sooner. Next season may be a bit early, as the drafted QB could be sitting 2 years. 2025 draft for sure though.
