Welp, now we know what a bad O line can do to a great qb.

What a huge beat down......the game was uglier than the score.....Patrick with garbage time points made it closer than what it shouldve been for sure.

Chicago has to upgrade their OL and the Chiefs better to. Not to mention add a bellcow RB so Mahomes can age gracefully.

Gamewrecker DT's matter.

Jalen Carter
Chris Jones
Vita Vea
Aaron Donald

There's a pattern emerging and in-your-QB's-face pass pressure is ruling the day.

Not taking Carter when we had a chance and he just fell to us was a mistake. That trade and our GM helped Philly win the Super Bowl big time. The Don Vic Fangio can't just sit back on Mahomes' scrambling and extra pass coverage without him.

Nothing new though...Bears miss out on good player....Sun rises in the east and sets in the west...Water is wet...etc etc.

or what a really good defensive front can do to disrupt a QB.

Mahomes was flustered from the get go

Yeah I would say this is more accurate.

It’s not like the Chiefs oline is bad. The Eagles front is just monstrous and they completely took over. Just completed won their individual battles over and over again.

But hey we got an average right tackle.

I still have a decent amount of confidence Wright will be our mainstay at RT. It can take time for offensive linemen to blossom and we all know that our coaching didn't help that process along for our young players.

But yeah, we blew the obvious move for Carter when it was handed to us on a platter. May not be fair to Wright...but talent is talent and that guy is going to the HOF barring injury. It is what it is. Hopefully Poles with Johnson can start just taking what is given when the opportunity presents itself.

Yeah I have no issues with Wright for the most part. But when compared to Carter......yikes.

I mean, it's a HUGE reach to compare the situations. The people suggesting that yesterday is how Mahomes would have looked as a Bear are shitting themselves. That's a huge load of bull.

It hurts to know that Philadelphia won as many playoff games this postseason as we've won total in 30 years.

Wright is a very solid young RT. When he gets better players around him he will shine. I like that pick. Carter has players around him. No one focuses him.

You don't like truth dollars? Carter has the benefit of good players around him taken the heat off of him. Wright does not. True or false?

Can you name another player on their line?

Wright is a good RT, with the potential to be a great one with some more guys around him, as you stated.

Carter may be the best interior linemen in the game, and if he isn't now, he's certainly getting close. Either way, DT is a much more impactful position and a RT will never really be comparable.

Now if Dexter Sr. can take another big jump and play at a level that's comparable, then I'll agree that it was ok to do, but still...too often, the Bears have passed on obvious talent, for bullshit reasons.
