A friend of mine and I talked about home-brewing about 10 to 12 years ago. But, of course we never really did. For me I bought an actually commercial beverage fridge for the house and had like a minimum 30 to 40 different beers available at anytime. My idea was that you brew it, I'll buy it. When we sold our house the guy that bought it wanted the beer fridge...it was the closer. Sad to say, I miss my fridge.

Well the time has come to go ahead and go forth and start the brewing process. I have enjoyed reading what a lot of you have been doing and am amazed. Anyway, wish me luck.

Congrats! It's pretty awesome. I'm going to need to order more supplies for the season change. As always, an IPA will be on the agenda and maybe a Hefeweizen or a Pilsner.

Boo-YAH! Skol, Brother. You will have tons of fun and you won't regret the time waste. I'm having a home-brew right now, but not mine; one of my friends in Great Neck made this batch last year, based on the Magic Hat #9 recipe. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to do some really good beers.
