Are all of you (kool aid drinkers) still ready to crown the Broncos as SuperBowl Champions before they even reach the playoffs? Was today the first trip for San Diego to Denver?
What if San Diego is the wild card and Denvers first game? Would that not make you worry about another "one and done"?

You have to seriously question any team who's only way to win seems to be a shootout. That sort of thing usually doesn't hold up in the playoffs. Denvers D isn't very good but I didn't realize how bad they are against the run until last night. Their run D's ranking does not reflect how bad it is, probably because opponents have to go to the pass so soon and often to try to play catch up. They were a sieve last night and it's not as if the Bolt's run game is all that.

Yuppp, if the defense isn't going to show up, it's going to be very tough to win games in the playoffs.

I still think they are the best team in the AFC, and let's be realistic Pats fans we damn near got our asses whooped by the Browns. So I would not be talking a bunch of shit.

I got ripped by broncos fans earlier in the season for pointing out their defense is terrible. This was at the time bailey and miller were coming back. They said those two will turn it around and make it a lot better. I said no, and everyone jumped my case. Well here we are the Bronco's got players back but their defense is still struggling and that doesn't look good. You can't win every game by a shootout, that does not work. This is exactly like the teams Manning played with in Indy. Great, historic, juggernaut offense, but when it comes to defense there is no one around.

If the Denver has to play the Bolts at home again in the playoffs, I can honestly see another one and done. Then what for Manning fans?

Admittedly DEN was/is my pick for the SB...I still think DEN will be in the AFCCG...losing to any team is not shocking but especially to a DIV is not surprising.

There are no dominant teams this year...DEN has holes too...it's gonna be a wild ride to the SB!!

I'm an old VOL fan so that makes me a Manning fan on some level...They split this year so I wouldn't be shocked if SD did exactly that. But, my guess is DEN will run the ball a little better than they did last night.

The inability to run was huge last night. I wasn't expecting that, since the run game had really been getting on track the past month or so.

They were putting pressure on Manning too and his receivers weren't getting open. He himself was fine for the most part. But then the Bolts are a funny team. They've lost to Houston, the Skins, Raiders and Titans and beat the Chiefs, Broncos, Boys & Colts. You'd have to be nuts to bet on their games regularly.

They also beat Philly on the road. It's just maddening. This team could easily be 10-4 or 11-3 right now, but they continue to step on their dicks at the most inopportune times. Last night made me forget all that, temporarily. At least their games still mean something.

I dont think ANYONE even broncos fans are ready to guarentee Manning winning two frozen football games (vs good competition)

I'm more afraid of this defense facing anything resembling a professional offense.

I think it's idiotic of any fan of any team regardless of that team's QB to " guarantee ... winning two frozen football games (vs good competition)" or in any other weather conditions or in even one game.

AFC is weaker than the NFC. San Fran, Seattle or the Saints will be the Superbowl Champs. And the team that starts off hot never wins it all. It's the team that gets rolling late in the year that takes the cake.

Defense baby!

The AFC was "weaker" than the NFC last year as well.

I wouldn't be too down on the Broncos now. The Chargers are actually a good team. They have won @ Phily, @ KC, and @ Denver. Every single loss this year has been within 10 points. Multiple losses of 2, 3, and 4 pts in games they should have won.
