the C59? to get the bike built to the specs I want will be generally about $9300 or so. Like I said though, a dealer friend swears he can get dealer price, so I'm hoping around $7500-$8000.

The X-Light? was around $2800, but that was 12 years ago and in Italy (so no import mark up price).

lol - I picked up a 95 Volvo 850 Turbo for my daughter to learn how to drive a couple of months ago. Paid $3000

Edit: That looks like a friggin nice bike though. The Volvo has a few scratches and dings, but hey, it is 18 years old.

just be careful when they get wet. I have Bontrager Aeolus 3 carbon wheels on the x-light. you have to use carbon brake pads also. first time I got in the rain with them on, scared the shit out of myself. they won't stop you very well...almost flew straight out into a busy intersection.

yeah, I know that's a lot for a bike, but I just love riding. It's the only time I ever truly feel relaxed and stress free.

The carbon wheel set I would love to have will cost me around 2500. (Why I have not gotten them).

My daughter's 2000 VW Cabrio was 2800.

Normally, I laugh at the gotta have carbon everything guys, but reducing the weight of rotating mass on a bike make s a huge difference. I can average around 23 mph. I figure just those wheels will get me over 25.
