wouldn't mind seeing a guard in the 1st 3 rounds. that is the only thing I really want to see as far as offensive picks.

according to one draft board, it shows McCarron, Mettenberger, Fales & Garoppolo all being available in the 4th round. it's the kind of move JJ is famous for

I like this move also.

It just has me wondering...

Why doesn't Jerry promote Garrett to "Supreme Head Coach" and give him a clipboard with some tic-tac-toe squares (it's x's and o's at least) and then hire a guy to be regular head coach that can manage the clock and call run plays.

Agree. I would say one of the first 4 picks is an OL. I wouldn't be shocked to see us go there in round 2 if we grab a DL in round 1 and ignore safety early again...

Was wondering what is wrong with Martez Wilson? The guy is big and fast and I would have thought he would have made more of an impact. The one LB in this draft I find very interestin is Telvin Smith from Florida State. He is obviously undersized but was thinking he would be able to cover in this scheme. I like his attitude. I see some possibilities if we were able to get a guy like Nix. Nix is going to command double teams and a guy like Smith would be ble to flow to the ball.

I think the first five rounds should be
2 - dline
2 dbacks
1 LB

in round 6 I'd be open to offense IF the value was there....no projects

I think that would be great especially if some how we can hit on 2 starters day one and 2 reliable back ups. I wouldn't be bothered if we took an OL or QB with one of our first picks either.

I see a Lot of Drafts showing us take the wr Davis from Texas as a speedy slot threat I wouldn't be opposed to that either. I also like the slot wr from Michigan he's only 5'7'' but he's a football player.

LOL snook ... surprised to see you say take a receiver early.

Nick said the other talking on talking Cowboys .... If we take a tackle or a receiver early ...It pretty much says someone is getting traded.

LOL that might be the door for Dez

Four positions I can't see in the 1st 4 rounds. QB, WR, C, and RB. There is no immediate need with these. Not saying what we have is perfect but what we have is more than good enough for the job. I'm 50/50 on our CB's. They have shown both that they are capable and that is their not. I believe if we get better rush from the line we will be fine at CB.

Disagree. Smart teams don't draft for the next year, they draft for the long run. If you keep drafting needs only it makes it even harder to find great players. Nothing wrong with making a rookie sit on the bench for a year

I have no problems with drafting potential and sitting them if you have decided it is time to build the team. (Jerry isn't thinking this way) or if you gave a solid team and need mostly depth. Dallas doesn't fit this description. We need to find 2014 STARTERS.
