We play every year in Harrodsburg, KY -- Bright Leaf Resort.....4 couples. Monday thru Thurs. Play 18 after arriving Monday, we just did 27 holes Tues (overcast, drizzle), 36 Wed., 9 today then drive back to MI.

20th straight year for some of us (different couples throughout).

I'm always interested in quality golf resorts in this region. Mrs 43 doesn't play, so the only way I get to is if there's lots of, whaddyacallem, "amenities".

I'll look into that place. Nice course?

We've got so many good posters here. The discussion is rivetting, the analysis spot-on, and the perspectives diverse. And the best part is, disagreements are reasoned through, allowing both posters to learn from each other. Neither side needs to be right; both sides just want to share their respective unique perspectives. This is a good board.

Yes, and great deal pre-May 1. They have 27 regulation holes plus a lit Par3 9-holes so if you are drunk enough, you can play until 11:00 p.m. It's "up" to $297 for 4 days/3 nights, that includes $16 credit in their restaurant. Covers two breakfast bar meals basically. You have to bring your booze/beer, cuz it's a dry county. We leave at 5:30 a.m. and make a 1:30 tee time on Monday (stopping for breakfast and alcohol purchase at the greatest liquor store I've ever seen -- Cork 'N Bottle in Covington KY across the river from Cincy).
