My mind spits with an enormous kickback.
in LA?I agree completely. Cannot wait until the NHL stops with the garbage outdoor games.
yes.
in boston, buffalo, etc?
no way.

Dumb. Players are used to certain aspects of an indoor court. A backdrop. Lights. No breeze or elements. Pointless effort in futility to try and play like that. Gimmicky.
It doesn't matter where it is. Your reasons for disliking the basketball game apply to the outdoor games as well. Terrible gimmick that exposes a larger audience to a much slower , sloppier NHL product.in LA?

no, they dont apply. why?It doesn't matter where it is. Your reasons for disliking the basketball game apply to the outdoor games as well. Terrible gimmick that exposes a larger audience to a much slower , sloppier NHL product.
But it's outside! And time lapse video of the rink being built!
no, they dont apply. why?
i say so.
outdoor organized basketball on an aircraft carrier doesnt happen nearly as often as say...i dunno...pond hockey...i.e outdoors.
so...try again with something better.
Played by cheerleaders .....I don't really mean to argue with you, just against the outdoor games so I probably should have said "To me your reasons for disliking the basketball game apply to the outdoor games as well.".
They are just gimmicky garbage. Might as well watch an NFL game played on the beach.

And when a NHL star* gets a serious injury in sloppy conditions then the NHL may rethink the whole thing.
*an average player? The NHL wont care at all.
Him and Wideman should team up...Reports are also swirling that Bill Foley is not happy about how long the NHL is taking regarding his Las Vegas expansion bid.
Him and Wideman should team up...
It wouldn't surprise me with Bettman. I don't think he personally favours Canadian expansion. He's looking at TV markets and warmer climates.Reports swirling that Quebec City was rejected for expansion. NHL has issued a denial.
I am hearing that the secret bid from Santa Fe is really impressing the league.
