I wonder what the Broncos are giving up for Flacco. Slight upgrade at QB but a bigger signal that our quarterback of the future is coming out in the 2020 draft. Best player available at #10 in this year's draft and go get their guy next year. Feels like a one year band-aid to me. Meh but great for the future if we land the big fish next year, I guess.

Flacco is better than Keenum. Keenum was terrible last year. Plays were there to be made all year and Keenum failed to pull the trigger. Flacco is a middle of the pack guy who can win with talent.

This may just be Elway hating Keenum and making sure he has a QB before FA. Could still draft a QB . Who knows.

I finished up John Feinstein's Quarterback last week. Flacco was prominently featured among a study of current NFL quarterbacks. I came away with an appreciation for the guy and his professionalism. I hope this works out for him

You're going to see a different result for play action. This system is built around the running backs and if the running game is working the play action will come and throws down the field.
This move is who Elway is. Is it the right way. Who knows can argue yes and no but its what Elway does and will do until he leaves Dove Valley.

Keenum was the 29th ranked QB in QB rating last year. Flacco was ranked 28th.
