They stacked the box, so I think it was the right play. If there was no hold, that would have been a first down. The hold kept him from getting the separation he needed to convert the down.Why we went away from running Gurley is beyond me.

there weren't any calls for holding on both sides of the ball... the Rams just made a piss poor effort on defense in regards to rushing the passer. Mcvay for as good as he is... must take the blame for some of this buffoonery with the play calling in not running the best back in the league more and the early miscues...
Alright boys, red... We all knew we weren't going 16-0. This was a respectful showing vs a very good club on the road.
This is why we need to keep home field throughout the post season.
