  • The Seahawks swept the season series from SF a year ago, allowing only 10 points in the two games. In ...the last six meetings between the teams, Seattle holds a 14-5 advantage in takeaways.
  • Russell Wilson is 5-2 in his career against the 49ers, including postseason, though the SF defense sacked him nine times in two games last year.
  • In his last two games, Colin Kaepernick has 602 passing yards, four TD passes, no interceptions, a 116.5 rating. In his previous two games, Kaepernick had no TD passes and five interceptions for a rating of 25.7.
  • Buffalo has sacked the quarterback a total of just nine times this season (tied for 6th fewest in NFL).
  • Adrian Peterson had just 60 yards on 26 carries in last week's win over the Chiefs. It was the second-fewest yards in any of his 30 career games with at least 25 carries (25 carries for 55 yards vs. Packers, Week 4 of 2009). Peterson had a season-high 134 rushing yards in Week 2 versus Detroit, his eighth career 100-yard game against the Lions.
  • The Lions' 18 giveaways this season are four more than any other team (Eagles, 14), and their most through six games in a season since having 19 in 2001. Detroit has also allowed an NFL-high 59 giveaway points.
  • The Saints (409.7 opponent total net yards per game) and the Colts (401.8) are two of four teams in the league allowing over 400 yards per game this season. New Orleans ranks last and Indianapolis ranks 29th in total defense.
  • Landry Jones replaced an injured Mike Vick (hamstring) in the third quarter last Sunday, and went on to complete eight of 12 passes for 168 yards, two touchdowns (0 INT), posting a 149.3 rating in his first-ever NFL appearance.
  • DeAndre Hopkins has recorded at least 100 receiving yards in each of his last four games and leads the NFL with 726 receiving yards.
  • Ryan Tannehill had two touchdown passes in Week 6, his fourth straight game with at least two touchdown passes. Tannehill's four-game streak with two or more touchdown passes is tied with Cleveland's Josh McCown for the second-longest active streak in the NFL (New England's Tom Brady has an active five-game streak).
  • The Jets' last three losses [at Gillette Stadium] have been by a combined eight points.
  • Brandon Marshall has four consecutive 100-yard receiving yard games for the Jets. This week he can tie the franchise-record streak of five straight, set by Don Maynard spanning the 1968 and 1969 seasons.
  • Josh McCown has thrown for 1367 yards over the last four weeks, the second most in the NFL over that span (Philip Rivers - 1472). Seven of McCown's eight touchdown passes this season have come after halftime.
  • Todd Gurley has rushed for 305 yards over his last two games, gaining at least 140 yards in each contest. The only Rams players in franchise history who've rushed for 140 or more yards in three straight games are Eric Dickerson (two separate streaks; 1983 and 1984) and Marshall Faulk (2002).
  • Gary Barnidge is the second Browns tight end with a touchdown catch in four consecutive team games (also Ozzie Newsome from September 20 -- October 11, 1981). Barnidge is also the second Browns tight end to have five TD catches through the team's first six games of a season (also Jordan Cameron in 2013).
  • Devonta Freeman has been on a tear of late, tallying 695 scrimmage yards and nine touchdowns over his last four games, the first four starts of his career. Freeman is the first player to tally at least 690 yards and nine touchdowns over any four-game span since LaDainian Tomlinson in 2006 (769 yards, 14 touchdowns).
  • Jameis Winston has totaled at least 200 passing yards and thrown at least one touchdown pass in all five games to date. That's the longest such streak to begin a career by any quarterback since at least 1960. Winston surpassed Andrew Luck, who opened his career with four such games in 2012.
  • In two games against the Chargers last season, Derek Carr threw for 454 yards and four touchdowns -- however, in his one game at Qualcomm Stadium, Carr threw for just 172 yards and completed just 47.1 percent of his passes with no touchdowns.
  • The last time Matt Cassel actually completed a pass in a game won by his team, it was Week one in 2014, as he guided the Vikings to a 34-6 win at St. Louis.
  • The Giants have 12 takeaways this season, fifth most in the NFL, with multiple takeaways in four of six games. The Cowboys have forced only three turnovers, all of them in Week 2 at Philadelphia; they have gone three straight games without a takeaway.
  • DeMarco Murray has rushed for 100+ yards 14 times since the beginning of 2014 (including playoffs) -- easily the most of any back in the league (Justin Forsett is second with eight).
  • Greg Olsen is one of five tight ends who lead their respective teams in catches and receiving yards this season.
  • The Eagles have turned the ball over three times in the red zone this season -- tied with the Falcons and Giants for most in the NFL. Carolina is one of 11 teams in the league yet to have a red-zone giveaway in 2015.
  • Steve Smith Sr. caught seven passes for 137 yards and a touchdown last Sunday, and is now averaging 102.0 receiving yards per game in 2015 -- fourth best in the league (second in NFC behind Julio Jones -- 106.3). Including six scoring grabs, Smith Sr. is averaging 108.0 receiving yards per game in six career road games versus the Cardinals.
  • The Ravens have allowed 162 points in 2015 -- their most through six games in any season all-time. Arizona has scored 203 points this season -- its most through six games in any season in franchise history.
