Not a Steeler fan but if I was...I’d want to win with the best players on the field. I don’t understand wishing for injuries personally.

This is where I am at. I'm glad that both Baker & OBJ are playing today. Would have been pissed if the Steelers won today and the Browns fans hung their hat on that loss being due to injuries. Would have had to endure that BS until week 17 when they play again.

I'm not for injuring players. This is football....it's a contact/collision sport. It's not that big a deal anyways, since the position is far too codled IMO, but any time a Steeler defender can get a legal shot on him....they should.

Its not wishing for injuries though. It is just checking to see how hurt he is. Hitting in the rib area is completely legal. It isn't going high or low on a player

I’m with ya as long as there is no dirty intention going on. Targeting injured players is complete BS imo. Now playing Football as hard as you can...and a dude gets hurt...different sitch altogether. This ain’t no sissy sport. Nor should it be.

Hubbard is solid. I was a big fan of his. Couldn't make it as a starter in Cleveland though.

EXACTLY! Sometimes I feel that fans don’t get this.

Most fans just live week to week, W's or L's. The real ones are looking further down the road. If you want your team to be battle-tested & ready for the playoffs, then they need to play their opponent's best weekly.
