Friday's remarks from Rams coach Sean McVay regarding running back Cam Akers created a clear impression that: (1) Akers will no longer be with the team; and (2) the Rams are hoping to trade their way out of a difficult situation.

The evidence being put forth by several pundits is that Akers will be traded before the November 1 trade deadline. Speculation is the Rams may finally ask for a high draft pick(s) and they perhaps will stop giving away players for 6th and 7th round picks like we did with Brockers and others.

Speculation continues that the draft picks may include as high as a 2nd or 3rd Rounder and possibly a combination of a draft picks and a starting O-lineman. The other scenario being floated is a McCaffery and Corbett for Akers and Allen Robinson and a future Number 2.

If we lose today, my sense is the Rams will start a mini-rebuild season and possibly tank the rest of the season to do so. One guy the Rams will watch today is Edge Brian Burns who is rumored to be on the trading block. Maybe an Akers for Burns swap make occur because McCaffery is also rumored to be on the trading block-too high a salary and oft injured. I hope it won't be McCaffery for Akers. That would be stupid.

We could also see a another scenario involving McCaffery, Corbett, and Burns on their side and Akers, Robinson, and Rapp on our side.

Akers has called-out McShit-fer-Brains and the latter doesn't like it and now we have a bona fide pissing match. Akers is going to be traded because McShit-fer-Brains is not going to allow any player to call him out.

The Falcons are beating the krap out of the Niners and at the end of the day we may see three teams in the NFC West with 3-3 records and one team with a 2-4 record. If the Niners comeback, we could see the Niners at 4-2 and everyone else with a either 3-3 record or 2-4 record because Arizona is playing Seattle today. We could also see one team at 4-2, one team at 3-3, and the other two at 2-4. We shall see.
