Goff will have to throw for 500 to win it since the Defense can't do shit.
Besides the pass attempts, I heard last night coming back from the game that Goff had the most pass yards by a QB with a perfect passer rating.Goff made NFL history with the most pass attempts by a quarterback with a perfect passer rating. Only two quarterbacks had reached the 158.3 plateau with at least 30 pass attempts: Kurt Warner (30) and Ken O’Brien (32).
Jared Goff makes NFL history with perfect passer rating on 33 attempts
Lately out here, they've been calling our offense the "Greatest Show On Surf". Kind of like it myself. Had it been another team other than the Rams with that GSOT moniker, it wouldn't set well, but since it is a variation within our own organization it's kind of a fitting spin off! This offense reminds me of an upgraded, more explosive version of the GSOT.
Goff's stats are impart a product of the talent around him, and I believe he is humble enough to know it. That is one hell of a RB running through that O-line who impressed us all yesterday, a very talented WR Corp, and a very talented Offensive minded HC who will one day write a book about his 'Greatest Show On Surf. the Sequel" LOLThe defense reminds me of some of the better defenses we had even in the year we went to the snooperbowl and won it all. Goff had 465 yards with 5 TDs. Credit a damn good O-line. One sack allowed I believe.
Saw AD getting doubled most of the game, that should allow Suh, Brockers, and Westbrook to shine. (Even saw a Peter's Corner Biltz off of AD's side that nearly led to a hand-off sack) But to your point, we paid a shit-ton of $$ for this guy, he should beat them double teams every now and then, there are plenty of dudes who demand a double who don't make near the stacks of cash AD is burning off our Cap.Yea, Phillips needs to reign a few overpaid dudes in the front seven. Littleton was doing most of the tackles and he is one of the lower paid dudes on the D. This Defense does miss Peters and the veteran presence of Talib. The front three need to get their asses going namely AD. All that money and his performance speaks volumes!! As much as the guy thinks otherwise, he needs to go through camp and the preseason. Suh and Brockers are covering his pedestrian ass.
Totally disagree, Bones is the man. He had a tough time last night Retro, no doubt, but he relies on Hekker to do what he usually does, and Sam Ficken should be able to punch a 28 (Or whatever it was) FG blindfolded, I can't put that on Johnny boy. I like the dude, he is aggressive, not afraid to take chances and has a high success rate when he does, it just worked against him yesterday. I thought the fake was a poor time, high risk and low reward compared to the kick-it-away option. But that's what successful fakes are built on, the element of surprise and attempting one, when the books says to kick-it-away supports that element of surprise. That said, my buddy Boot-Man (Who you met in Arizona) called it, and I told him he was crazy! Well, Boot-Man was right about the call, and I was right about it being crazy!I think we need a change at ST coach. Fassel as worn out his stay. That Hekker pass looked ill-conceived and although Hekker can still throw it, the rest of his ST mates are clueless sometimes.
What a great game to attend!
Did y'all see this?
