has the Bill Obrien firing been announced?

no shit, he screwed many big things up.

Wasted a TO challenging the sack (that was a sack but the refs fucked up) and then didn't use last timeout and wasted 10 seconds. What a fool.

He's not going anywhere. He's got the Texans playing real well and that defense is a bitch.

Naaah, he's an offensive guru who has had 9 different QB's in 3 years

he backs into the postseason from time to time because they play in a horrific division, and he goes and gets steamrolled every postseason

And he's the only coach in the NFL that is one yard from winning in Foxboro, and says "Here Tom, you take it"

Brady was great, not taking anything away from him, but everyone in the human race knew how that game was ending as soon as O'Brien elected to make it 33-28 with 2 minutes to go, instead of going one yard against an awful defense for the win

He had 4th and 1 with 2 and change left in the game...They get that yard, game Over....He kicked a FG, and the world knew Brady would go downfield and win the game

He is brutal

The Texans just got stuffed on 3rd and 1 and I'm thinking he wasn't too keen on not getting any points AND giving Brady a short field. The way his D-line dominated all day, I gotta believe he thought they would hold NE out of the end zone.

Im sure thats exactly how he would explain it also.....But If i knew from my couch, you probably knew too, most of Foxboro knew, than Bill Obrien needs to know..........

I disagree. I'd say there is only a couple of coaches that would have gone for it. Pete Carroll comes to mind :dhd:

Honestly, my buddy and I were watching in his woodworking shop and neither of us was confident at all.

How about just EVERY game in the NFCN?
Top has to be Detoilet losing to the Dirty Birds because of an apparent TD with 8 seconds left, a call reversal, and a required 10 second runoff rule nobody knows about.
Then You have Da Bearz winning in OT on a long run against the Squealers.
Fudge Packers have Aaron Rogers up to his tricks throwing long after he draws the Bungholes offsides and knows it's a free play in OT.
Biqueens backup QB looks like Gawd himself against the Phukinqueers.

Amazing how so many coaches make the stupidest decisions in the world against TB and BB.

I heard he challenged a play in that game where it changed field position from the 46 to the 38, New England was punting either way, and he lost a timeout

I agree with that BTW....I do think panic sets in with some of these coaches that know BB is one step ahead of them....I do think there is a different style of coaching against other teams for a lot of them.....The Seattle SB is the perfect example

It's all part of winning and losing. Offense, defense, STs, HFA, coaching decisions, weather, discipline and execution. Bottom line the players need to execute.
