I mean that’s the risk you take when signing free agents. Denver isn’t the only team that‘s had to overpay for players who probably aren’t worth it hit that‘s how the system is done.

We could have done way worse but nobody should have been surprised we overpaid for McGlinchey. It was the only way we were signing him. So yeah, he hasn't been worth the money but he hasn't been a horrible OT. People's expectations are just SOOOOOOOOOOOO high because of the contract and I get that but this is what they should have expected. He is what he was in SF... A decent RT. If he was great he would have never signed him. We signed him at a time when we had the worst OL in the NFL and a long history of overpaying injury prone RT's. He was an upgrade. An expensive one at that.. But we weren't getting anywhere not forking some cash over to upgrade at RT and interior OL.
