#H9Csuck!
Stafford's first mistake of the season, and it could end up being the difference in this one when it is said and done.
Yes.Lunch break western AZ on the I-10. Have to be in Fresno tomorrow. Exercising Plan B.You delivering "a load", @Retroram52?
Some really bad call in this one.
Maybe the Refs thought with so many 9er fans in the house, it was a 9er home game.
Just sucks the crowd, and the home cooking went the way of the visitors this afternoon.Yes. And that tipped INT was at a bad time.
Glad we hung in there tho. How about 5th rounders Puka and Kyren Williams? Puka was punishing 9er LBs and DBs. That Edge Young is a good one too.
Just stay healthy boys
Yeah, it’s pretty bad when the road team is getting “home” calls.Just sucks the crowd, and the home cooking went the way of the visitors this afternoon.
That holding call in the first quarter on Skowronek or Higbee (Cant remember which) really was Bosa doing the holding. The TE was just trying to get into space after a chip block on Bosa. I thought that was pretty obvious, but they called the holding on the Rams, and that was on 3rd down. So instead of a chip FG, it gave a new set of downs that led to a TD instead, so there's 4 points.
Then the clock not hitting zeros, but instead hit .01s at the end of the half seemed more than unforutnate, it is suppose to stop when the ball hits the ground, and it was actually stopped when it hit a ball boy who tried to catch it instead., so that led to 7 points.
What did they lose by, 7 points? Well there's 11 points right there.
Also the holding call on the 9ers, where they picked up the flag because they said Stafford was out of the pocket when he clearly was not, led to a 4th down instead of a new set of downs for the Rams in the red zone. That was worse than a bad call, because they changed the correct call only to get it wrong, and in the 9ers favor.
Then last but not least, the many non calls of the 9ers guilty of holding No. 99, but none as blatant as the one where Purdy just get off the TD pass to even the score, that too was on 3rd down, without the hold, it's a sack.
Proud of the Rams though, but wtih Cooper out, Stafford had to play perfect against this talented 49ers team with so many young guys on both sides of the ball for the Rams. Stafford has been real good, the first interception was really on Williams. Sure Stafford zipped it in there to a RB making his first NFL start, but Williams turned to make a play without securing the ball.
Luckily Purdy missed a couple of wide open receivers deep that were sure TDs had he thrown a better pass, so we were able to keep it close. I just think it's a lot of pressue to shoulder to try and be perfect, so I don't really blame Stafford too much on the 2nd Int. either. He was surely pressing by that stage of the game, and those type of plays happen in those circumstances.
Jefferson is a total bust, he and Akers are dead weight.
I didn't even know Jefferson was on the field. He played the whole game and had one 10 yard catch.
