That has yet to be determined.

There is, however, a lovely, to me, possibility that this post-season will be totally NY free. Mets are already eliminated if memory serves and the "Sinstripes" are in serious danger.

Red Sox are definitely benefiting from having fired Bobby Valentine. In 40+ years of following baseball I've never seen a manager in either the majors or the minors that clueless on handling pitching staffs. Not-My-Valentine was, no contest, the worst Red Sox manager since Don Zimmer back in the 70's.

I think Crush is a little optimistic Jets defense is still pretty good and Rexy is still a good DC and NE offense is in flux. But I think NE defense is good enough to steal a few points from Geno. Now if Sanchez was starting I would say NE in a blow out.

What players eat in the clubhouse had NOTHING to do with last season's problems.

It was all Not-My-Valentine's inability to do anything but kiss front office posterior. He had to be All-World
at that to have ever gotten the job!

valentine sucks no doubt but it wasnt all on him. the players were lazy slobs cuz they could basically drink and eat and be losers all season. beckett "we only get 18 off days a year" blah blah gimme a break. pretty sure most pitchers pitched drunk last season too.

It WAS ALL on Valentine, I assure you.

He was CLUELESS on when to lift tiring pitchers, and not much better at helping his players break bad habits.

He THOUGHT he was a disciplinarian, but even there he didn't know who had self-discipline and who didn't.
