Wow..No love for the Vikes?
IMO, Giants, Bears and Cowboys won't make the playoffs.

would love for the Vikings to make it if the 49ers win next week. That means we would have the #2 seed again.

I have no doubt the Vikes will beat the Pack at home.
If not for a couple red zone picks(nothing to do with good defense), Vikes would have won at Lambeau..

That game next week is very close for sure.

The Vikings winning next week would really help me/all of us recover from this Seahawks loss.

Keep the Giants out of the playoffs. This has all the makings of them sneaking their way in like they always do.

Go Detroit, I guess. That's the only one that's unlikely. Dallas might win, but it's just as likely to lose. Giants will probably win, as will Green Bay.

I honestly could care less who gets in. DO NOT let the Giants in. Because they'll make another run.

Just curious, do you secondarily support Tampa Bay Bucs due to your fandom of the Rays?

I support them and root for them to do well. But I only consider myself a fan of the Ravens.

Sanchez will start again. Doesnt get any better than this :juggle:

"Obviously, Tim isn't happy with it, as you'd expect," Ryan said.

This was a surreal development even by Jets standards. Ryan opened his late-morning news conference by saying, "You're not going to believe this, but ... ."

Ryan said he was "stunned" when McElroy, with a towel wrapped around his head, walked into his office at 9:30 a.m. accompanied by trainer John Mellody.

Does anybody know if the 49ers remain the 3 seed what day they will be playing on next week?

No. That has not been released yet and I doubt any decision has been made yet. It changes every year.

2011-12 - New Orleans (Saturday), Houston (Saturday)

2010-11 - Philadelphia (Sunday), Indianapolis (Saturday)

2009-10 - Dallas (Saturday), New England (Sunday)

2008-09 - Minnesota (Sunday), Miami (Sunday)

2007-08 - Seattle (Saturday), San Diego (Sunday)

It's my belief that the 49ers will be hosting the Bears in the first round and I could see the NFL placing that game on Saturday with the Seahawks at the Cowboys coming on Sunday. In fact, here's my best guess:

Saturday - Bears @ 49ers, Bengals @ Patriots

Sunday - Colts @ Ravens, Seahawks @ Cowboys

------

If somehow the Giants sneak in and have to play the 49ers, which is what I thought last week was going to happen, I could see a case being made for the 49ers to get the NFC game on Sunday. The other NFC game that week using my model would be Seattle @ Washington and you'd think they would want that game to be on Saturday instead of Sunday.

Edit: I guess if the Bears lose to the Lions, if the Giants beat the Eagles, and the Cowboys beat the Redskins, the 49ers would host the Redskins. Still guessing the 49ers would get the Saturday game then with the Seahawks @ Cowboys on Sunday.
