why wer they running so much
My guess... Todd Haley didn't feel the need to gameplan vs. a 4-10 team.

The theme of their first half: Run, run, pass, punt...

prolific passing offense and we do didly
Ravens forced the run by dropping their safeties deep. Run game worked for the most part. But they couldn't do shit when it mattered.

Well they at least decided their first half game plan wasn't doin jack shit... So the 2nd half they went pass heavy.

They at least made a game out of it. But Ben was just off today.

I dont get this defense .. they take a whole half of a game to warm up and figure things out Idk .
ot looked like we
1) walked in there thinking that we were gonna win by default
2) idk maybe they figured that we just need to do enough to win and didnt want to risk getting our players hurt cause what is the sense of getting in the playoffs with you best guy's out for the season .. baltimore showed up to play have to give them credit for that

just some thoughts running through my melon right now .... very frustrating :gaah:

A total lack less effort for a team trying to get to the playoffs.
Still cant believe what I watched yesterday.

I think we all got to experience what its like to be a Cleveland Browns fan for a day.

Actually, no... not even close. We were in playoff contention, which is like the tooth fairy or Santa Claus to the Browns.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year gang.

Off since the 24th, I've enjoyed a few days unplugged. Playing some golf dodging rain, but 70 deg days...crazy el nino I guess. Watching a few of these college bowl games to see what the '16 crop might look like.

No comment about the BAL game...no sense starting off the year on a negative...Go Bills is all I have to say...aside from that...draft talk can in earnest. Good we don't have to wait all day for our fate...By 4p on Sunday we'll be talking about the draft or a WC game.

Happy New Year ATL!

70deg sounds brutal! lol. We've been getting off & on precipitation up here. Glad we haven't been dipping below the 20's though. Sounds like much of the rest of the states are hitting negatives. No thanks!

I haven't really given much thought to the prospects coming up. Still sour on the season, and I'm not even convinced as to what PIT should be targeting 1st round yet. There's a handful of positions at the moment that are worthy. Watched some of the Orange & Cotton Bowls, but didn't watch much else. Bummed I didn't get to see Clemson's Shaq Lawson play as he got injured on the opening drive and sat the rest of the game.

Idk what bowls I have been watching really...lol...I've been looking for big CBs and S mostly...KS St has a big kid...forgot his name...has some skills. Kearse the S from Clem is did see a little, but Lawson did go down early and Bosa (not that PIT will have a chance at him) got himself tossed early.

70 deg and wet, but not a total washout so not brutal...2 or 3 actual sunny days to play...no jacket needed...strange for DEC, but winter has come back...50s...a thin 3 layer day.

The Bama DL boys I think might be too much for Clem but we shall see.

1st Rd...we all know the needs at the top of the list...CB, SS...but picking in the late teens to 20s, NT, OG/OT/OLB/DE could all be in play...BPA is probably the line of thinking this yr, but this draft has to address the back end of the DEF. Golden (ufa) is proving that he can play when given snaps, but is he a starter? Allen is solid, but reaching that age where he's a liability more than a playmaker.
