The refs saw the ball was about to be intercepted, so they threw a flag so the Cardinals would keep the ball.

Clemens hasn't shown much lately and the Rams aren't making the playoffs, so why doesn't Fisher at least play Davis to see if he has what it takes to at least be a better backup than Clemens?

I will never understand HC's that do that. You know what Clemens brings to the table. Find out what the young QB has. Are they afraid he may be better than Bradford? Would that be a bad thing?

Exactly, Clemens was borderline concussion status right there. Why not give Davis a chance in the last six minutes of a loss. I guess Fisher would rather throw him in there after Clemens gets a concussion when we are in a tight winnable game where there is going to be more pressure on Davis! Ya, it makes absolutely no sense!

From a a Cardinal perspective, Fisher is a great coach. You can't blame him. Your quarterback situation is atrocious. Not to mention, you're in the best division in football. There are three teams in this division that are better than the Rams and the Rams are a good team. Give fish or chance. You won't regret it in the long run.

I was at the game and Davis and Clemens were warming up together going into the mid fourth quarter after what seemed like the defense had been on the field forever. We all thought Davis was coming in after that huge (nobody blocked the guy and certainly not Long) hit but nope, Clemens returned. We all sat shaking our heads.

I agree and now that they are officially eliminated from the playoffs I want to see both he and Baily play more. Why not you might as well see what you have in Davis and Baily, in his limited action, might be the Rams best receiver the last few weeks. I seem to remember Vermeil continuing to play Steve Bono in 1998 after Banks was injured even though the Rams were out of the playoff picture. He just had some guy named Kurt Warner rotting on the bench while Bono showed he couldn't play in this league.

I guarantee you that Bailey is going to be an excellent WR for us and should supplant Givens as the starter. He has excellent techniques and his hands are like glue.
